I Thank...

Laura: You're my muse. You give me input whether I ask or not, but that's okay because it is very  much appreciated. You helped me during writer's block and trying to figure out what picture to take. You read my stories as I do them and you give me great insight.

David: For reading every story and encouraging me along the way.

Readers: You all are very important for my story. If it weren't for you then there wouldn't be one. Your feedback is greatly appreciated. Even if there was something negative to say, which there hasn't been, then I'd turn that negativity into something positive by taking into consideration what was said. I always look forward to what my readers say even it's just a "great job." I also love hearing about how someone despise a character because it shows that my story is evoking emotion, which is exactly the purpose behind the story. To hate or love a character is part of art like a painting or music. So thank you for reading my stories and waiting patiently while I get the next chapter out. I hope to keep writing this story for awhile.

Lovers Triangle: Chapter 3

I have been searching for a job for months now and it feels like it's impossible. No one is hiring and with no work experience, it's even harder. After months of searching, I finally landed a great job as a Tech Guru at Rainy Day Entertainment. Landing a job this wonderful is beyond the best news ever. Now Andrew and I will be able to get our own place together, and not have to deal with Sam anymore. I know he's Andrew's father, but Sam has never made an effort to be there for Andy. Sam's always been busy with flirting with Karli to even notice that he has a son.

After receiving the best job ever, I heard the doorbell ring so I went to answer it. These group of girls dressed all in purple and black showed up at my door. I have never seen them before so I'm not sure why they're here.

Emma: Hi, I'm Emma Wallace.
Me: I'm Elizabeth Harrison. What brings you to our house?
Emma: Tiffany Santiago met Samuel Harrison at a bar one night and wanted to get to know him better. Are you two married?
Me: We were, but I divorced him after finding out he had been cheating on me for 6 months.
Emma: Oh my gosh, that is horrible. I'm so sorry he did that to you.
Me: It still hurts, but thank you. If she wants to talk to Sam, he's right over there.
Emma: Tiff, he's here if you want to talk to him.
Tiffany: I don't know what to say.
Emma: That's why you have us here. We're your wingwomen.
Tiffany: Okay well here goes nothing. Hey Sam?

Tiffany: Hey Sam. Remember me?
Samuel: I do remember seeing you, but I don't know your name
Tiffany: I'm Tiffany Santiago. We met recently at a bar.
Samuel: I remember. What brings you here?
Tiffany: I wanted to get to know you better since I hadn't heard from you.
Samuel: Sorry, but I just got out of a messy divorce and dealing with custody issues. I'm not ready for a...woah who is that beautiful woman?

Tiffany: That's Emma Wallace. She's part of our club. You were saying about not being ready for something?
Samuel: Yeah..relationship...uhh hey Emma.
Emma: Hi Samuel.
Samuel: Are you single Emma?
Tiffany: Are you kidding me? You're flirting with her in front of me?
Samuel: I'm not interested in you Tiffany.
Tiffany: Wow Sam. Now I'm seeing part of why your wife left you.
Samuel: My wife left me because I was unfaithful. Me turning you down has nothing to do with her so leave her out of this.

Tiffany: Whatever. I'm out of here. You coming Emma?
Emma: Actually, I'm going to stay.

Tiffany: Are you kidding me? You came here for me.
Emma: Yes I know that, but you're saying that if he wants to flirt with me and get to know me then I'm not allowed to do the same back?
Tiffany: That's exactly what I'm saying.
Emma: I don't think it's right that you're going to stand in the way of my happiness just because he rejected you.
Tiffany: True friends wouldn't go after their friend's crush.
Emma: You saw him and waved then he waved back. It's not like you two had a date or anything. Get over yourself.
Tiffany: No I won't. I never should've trusted you.
Emma: I'm sorry I ever offered to help you here. Clearly you don't need my help messing up.
Tiffany: Wow. That was a low blow Emma.
Emma: You're lucky I'm not the leader of this club. I'd kick you out. We're going to have a meeting with Kelsie.
Tiffany: Fine. I'm leaving. As of this moment, you don't have a room at our house. Goodbye.

Samuel: Why don't we go sit on the couch Emma? I'd like to get to know you better.
Emma: Aww okay Sam. I'd love that.

Samuel: So what is your favorite hobby?
Emma: Dancing. There's nothing better than moving to the beat. What's yours?
Samuel: Well for years I loved critiquing art, but I'm not sure anymore.
Emma: That's okay. You'll find a new hobby you love, I'm sure.
Samuel: I think you're right. What is your greatest goal in life?
Emma: This might sound silly, but I want to be an amazing club leader one day.
Samuel: Why would that be silly?
Emma: It's a club, right? Most desire to have the best jobs or biggest houses. I'm simple. Let me lead the best club and I will be forever happy.
Samuel: That's what matters. Your happiness.
Emma: I think that's sweet of you to say. What's your greatest goal in life?
Samuel: Remember how you said that some want to own the biggest houses? I'm one of them. I love fancy houses that are decorated throughout.
Emma: Oh Sam, I'm so sorry. I hope I didn't make you feel bad when I said that.
Samuel: Not at all. I found it a bit humorous.
Emma: Okay good because I don't want to offend you.
Samuel: So what makes you, you?
Emma: Well you already know that I love dancing. I also love to make people laugh, I'm creative, and I'm confident in who I am. How about yourself?
Samuel: I'm a big flirt and that's why Elizabeth left me. I do love art as you know and I'm sure you can see that in here. I'm also very confident like you are.
Emma: I appreciate you telling me why your wife left you, but why tell me now? You just met me.
Samuel: I think you're beautiful and I want to see where this goes. I also want to be up front so there's never a question about my honesty.
Emma: Well I think that's admirable. There is something I want to ask you, if you don't mind.
Samuel: What is it?
Emma: Why did your ex-wife just leave when she found out? Why didn't she try to work things out before walking away?

Me: I think I should be the one who answers that question. Right Sam?
Sam: Yeah, you are the best person to answer that.

Emma: Okay so why didn't you give them a second chance?
Me: I had my suspicions for a couple of weeks, he let me think I was crazy, and I caught him kissing Karli. I figured if he was really remorseful about what he had done then he would've either confessed or not had lied to me all that time. I've asked him if something was wrong and he assured me there wasn't. They even lied after I caught them kissing. How could I forgive him after his countless lies? Could you?
Emma: It would be hard, but I think if you truly love someone then things could get better.
Me: I was married to him for 20 years. Have you ever been married?
Emma: Not married, but I've been engaged and I left him
Me: What caused you to leave?
Emma: There was more than just cheating and lying, I can tell you that.
Me: Let me guess. You caught him and left?
Emma: No. I stayed with him for four years until I had enough. When I commit to someone, I do not just walk away at the first sign of trouble.
Me: That's admirable, but I couldn't do that. Well, I need to get to work. Bye.

Samuel: So Tiffany said that you no longer have a room back at their house.
Emma: Yeah. It's okay, I'll find somewhere to live. I do have some money from the inheritance I received from my grandma.
Samuel: Well...this might sound crazy since we just met, but would you like to move in here?
Emma: I couldn't impose and besides, where will your ex-wife sleep?
Samuel: In the spare room with our son.
Emma: So where do I sleep?
Samuel: Well, in the same room with me if you want. If that's too forward then maybe we can set up a different arrangement.
Emma: It's definitely a bit forward, but it's okay. I know all of what she said, but I feel like things are different between us.
Samuel: Okay, I'll help you move all of your stuff tomorrow. We can go get some things for tonight. Does that sound good?
Emma: Absolutely.

Lovers Triangle: Chapter 2

It has been two weeks since we moved into our wonderful home, but it's only wonderful from the outside. Once you step inside, it doesn't feel like that anymore. Lately, there has been so much fighting between Sam and me, and I'm not sure if this marriage will last.

He went from always wanting to go on dates and hang out around town to always staying home. I'm starting to notice little things such as he doesn't look at me the same way anymore. There were times when I'd catch him staring at me from across the room and he would kiss me in the middle of a sentence. Things aren't that way anymore. He's distant, cold, and uninterested in everything I say and do. I wish he'd just look at me like he used to...just once.

Me: Sam, can we talk?
Samuel: I guess. What about?
Me: You haven't seemed like yourself lately. Is everything okay?
Samuel: Yes I'm fine.
Me: You seem different.
Samuel: I'm the same guy you've known for 20 years.
Me: Maybe it's just in my head. Sorry love.
Samuel: It's okay.
Me: Maybe we could go to a movie this weekend. What do you think?
Samuel: No. I'm going to hang out with Brett at the gym.
Me: Well there's something I need to tell you.
Samuel: What?
Me: I'm pregnant.
Samuel: Oh...well, congrats. Is it mine?
Me: Of course it's yours. Who else would it be?
Samuel: I've seen how you look at Brett and I know you like him. I also saw you coming out of his room one night.
Me: That is not true!! I have never been interested in anyone except you. I have been faithful to you ever since I fell in-love with you.

Samuel: Don't lie to me. You can sleep on the couch tonight.
Me: How dare you!!
Samuel: I'm done talking to you. Go away.

We sleep in the same room and Brett's room is on the other end of the house plus his wife is in there with him. His accusations don't make sense unless he's the one who's cheating. Maybe sleeping on the couch will be a good thing because I can see if anything happens.
Samuel: Karli, want to sneak off to the park?
Karli: aww Sam, of course I do.
Samuel: Okay, but we need to make sure we're very quiet. These floors creek.
Karli: Yes. How has Elizabeth or Brett not caught on yet?
Samuel: Well I think Elizabeth...

Me: What is going on you two?
Samuel: We're just talking.
Me: In the middle of the night?
Karli: Yes. I got hungry and Sam said he was thirsty, which I didn't know until I left my room
Me: The only person who calls Samuel Sam is me, his wife.
Karli: Brett calls him that.
Me: No he doesn't and I've known him for 20 years. He has never once called Samuel by his nickname.
Samuel: Elizabeth. There's nothing going on here. Please just go back to bed.
Me: I just saw you two kissing!! Stop lying to me.
Samuel: Alright fine. I've been secretly dating Karli.
Me: How long has this been going on?
Karli: 6 months Liz.
Me: You have been sneaking around my back and you accused me of cheating Samuel.
Samuel: You just called me Samuel. You always call me Sam.
Me: Don't get sentimental on me now. You made me think it was all in my head. I knew something was different with you. You let me think I was crazy.
Samuel: It wasn't hard for me to convince you that. You've always been suspicious of me around other women.
Me: Now you see why!! Just wait until Brett hears about this.
Karli: Please don't tell him. It will break his heart.
Me: Just like Sam broke mine by hooking up with you? You deserve it, homewrecker.

Me: Brett, there's something you need to know.
Brett: What is it?
Me: Karli and my husband Sam have been sneaking around our backs for the past 6 months.
Brett: Are you sure?
Me: I had the suspicions for a few weeks, but it was confirmed last night when I saw them kissing.
Brett: What time was this?
Me: 12:43 am.
Brett: How did you catch them?
Me: Sam accused me of sleeping with you then told me to sleep on the couch.
Brett: Now that's a crazy idea.
Me: I know because you've always been like a brother to me and Sam knows that.
Brett: Exactly. So you were sleeping on the couch and then what happened?
Me: I heard people talking so I got up and I saw them kissing.
Brett: That sneaky little b!tch!
Me: All I've done is cry all night.
Brett: Well what if we taught them a lesson?
Me: What kind of lesson?
Brett: Show them how it feels.
Me: You mean, you want to kiss me?
Brett: Only if you're okay with it.
Me: Okay. Who knows, I may end up liking it.
Me: Wow. That was an amazing kiss!
Brett: Well you weren't so bad yourself.
Me: Awww thank you Brett.

Karli: What is going on here!! How dare you kiss my husband

Me: How dare you get mad at us for doing what you did!!
Karli: You're no better than us.
Brett: We kissed. I'm sure you did a lot worse with Samuel.
Me: Told you Brett didn't call Sam by his nickname.

Karli: You're right, Liz and Brett. I'm sorry.
Brett: We just wanted you to know how we felt.
Karli: I knew it was wrong, but he's irresistible.
Brett: We've been married for 10 years and you never once said I was like that. We have a son together.
Karli: I know and I'm sorry for hurting you.
Brett: Just don't Kar. It hurts too much.
Karli: Fine then how about this. I'm divorcing you!
Brett: So you cheat on me for 6 months and all I did was kiss Liz, and you want to divorce me!? Are you kidding me?
Karli: No I'm not. I'm beating you to the punch. It's over Brett. I'm in-love with Sam.
Me: You think he'll change for you? If he can cheat on me then he'll cheat on you.
Karli: I don't believe that. I think he cheated on you because he fell out of love with you.
Me: You did not just go there. Get away from me!

Samuel: Why would you say that to her?
Karli: It's how I feel.

Me: Samuel, may I talk to you?
Samuel: Sure. Give us a moment Karli?
Me: No need Karli. You can be here for this.
Samuel: Well okay. What is it Elizabeth?
Me: I want a divorce first thing in the morning. You and your homewrecker can be happy. Don't say I told you so Karli when he treats you the same way he treated me. 20 years of marriage down the drain. Goodbye both of you.
Samuel: What about our son, Andrew? He'll be a child soon.
Me: I'm fighting for full custody after his birthday.
Samuel: You won't get it.
Me: Oh really? I'm sure an unstable marriage because my husband was sleeping around with a whore will be plenty of evidence for my case.
Samuel: You don't even have a job.
Me: Neither do you, which is probably why you had so much time on your hands to hook up with Karli here. Don't worry, I plan on getting a job soon so I can support Andrew on my own.

The next morning, our divorced was finalized; however, since I cannot afford to move out on my own then we have to have shared custody. I will get whatever job I can so Andrew and I can live our lives together in a stable, drama free home. He shouldn't live in an environment like this. He's my miracle baby and I will do everything I can to give him the best life possible. I love you Andrew, you're my baby boy even though you won't be an actual baby much longer.

Lovers Triangle: Chapter 1

Samuel is the man of my dreams. We have so much in common and he's perfect in every way for me. People call us Ken and Barbie because of our chemistry plus the fact that we're like a match made in Heaven. We've been married for 20 years and while we've had our ups and downs, I wouldn't trade him in for anyone.

We wanted to move to Newcrest, but our finances were tight after the stock market crashed. There was no way we could afford a decent size home on our own especially since we wanted to have a family of our own someday. Sam had the idea of moving in with his best friend Brett and his wife Karli.

Despite being in an amazing relationship, I have always had insecurities in our marriage because Sam is a big flirt and hits on almost every girl we meet. It has caused a few arguments over the years, but he's never given me a reason to not trust him.

When I first met Karli, my red flags and walls instantly went up. Sure she dressed differently, but there was something about her so I had a conversation with Sam at our apartment in Willow Creek.

Me: Sam, I'm not sure we should move in with Brett and Karli.
Samuel: Why not? He's been my best friend since I was a kid.
Me: I know, but I'm worried about you leaving me for her.
Samuel: This again Elizabeth? It's been 20 years. When are you going to trust me?
Me: I can't help how I feel so stop acting like I'm wrong for i.
Samuel: If you want to move to Newcrest then this is what we have to do. We have exhausted all of our resources. There are no other options.
Me: I guess we have no choice since that's the only location with a house big enough for us.
Samuel: I understand you have reservations, but please trust me. I would never hurt you.
Me: Okay Sam. Let's co-sign a house with Brett and Karli so we can move.

We arrived just in time for Christmas and worked hard to get our decorations up, especially the tree. Karli's actually nice and I can tell she truly loves her husband Brett. Something about her just doesn't seem right though. but that could just be my insecurities.

Me: I'm so happy you two helped us get this wonderful place.
Karli: We're happy too because we were in a similar situation especially with Walker going off to college soon.
Samuel: I can't believe you're a teenager already Walker.
Walker: Yeah, that's what my mom keeps telling me.

Karli: Yeah soon we'll be empty nesters and I will have more free time, right Sam?
Me: Shouldn't you be asking your husband that?
Karli: Uhh...I mean, right honey?
Brett: Yeah sure.
Karli: What is it babe?
Brett: We'll talk later.
Me: I'm going to go grocery shopping. Sam, you coming with me?
Samuel: No, I think I'll stay here.
Me: But you always come with me.
Samuel: Well this time I don't want to so go by yourself.
Me: Fine!! I don't need your help anyway. I just wanted the company.
Samuel: Well I'm tired so let it go.
Me: Whatever.
Walker: You know, I think I hear my homework calling me.

He always goes grocery shopping with me even though it's not his favorite activity to do because he knows that I love the company plus he can get things that I'm unable to. We move into the new house and suddenly he doesn't want to go with me? Was Karli flirting with him? I know Sam is very handsome, but for someone to flirt with him in front of me? Let alone in front of her own husband. I'm not sure if something is going on, but I'm going to keep an eye out.
